The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or mucus, which are discharged from the nose after an infected person coughs or sneezes.

There are COVID-19 tests available that can test for current infection or past infection. There are two types of viral tests that can be used: PCR and antigen tests and also antibody tests that might show us if we had a past infection.
